The Backing Pad is NOT 5/8" Threads!!!

I bought a new Dewalt 849 buffer, and ordered both a set of 7" and 3" TCPGlobal pads. Everything arrived fine, and is of good quality, except that the description is not correct: the backing pad does NOT fit the 5/8 coarse threads on the Dewalt. There is enough material to retap this part, however. I would have given this 5 stars except for this problem.

Unexpected quality

I saw this cheezy blister pack and thought, "Well, it's just a crappy little set." The pads are perfectly molded and even thickness all around. The arbor is perfectly straight, and is in no way inferior to Meguiars-class products. The two pads are just what I was looking for for polishing headlights and glass with cerium oxide. Worked far better than expected. The items pictured are what you get, but comes in a plastic box, and when you lay your eyes on it, you won't believe it. Positively high quality stuff.
