Each brush is based out of a solid wood block and has a rubber wrap around bumper to prevent marking the surface. Features yellow polystyrene bristles with split end fibers, safe on gel coat, clear coat, fiberglass and paint. These deck brushes are available in four textures: Extra stiff, medium, soft and extra soft.

Shurhold all the way

Shurhold has definitely made a great product. The bristles are great for my non-skid deck and soft enough for the hull. I only use it on the hull when there is a build up, but does not scratch it. the rubber bumper rail is great, doesn't mark up your gel coat. I can't speak for the other brands that try to emulate this product, but then again I wouldn't go with anything other than shurhold from now on.

Great deck brush!

I purchased this brush head as a replacement for one that finally gave out after many years of service. The wood head developed a crack shortly after I began using it but Shurhold quickly replaced it without question after I e-mailed a photo of the defect.

Five stars for an excellent product and superior customer service!
