Very nice - you do get what you pay for!

So I splurged and bought this thing - and some more hardware at Home Depot to make the quick disconnect they stock have enough clearance for the shut off valve supplied with the nozzle. In my experience the free rotation offered by the quick disconnect seems necessary, keeping you out of a wrestling match with the coil of the hose and allowing you to keep your hand where you want it in relation to the shut off valve. It would be nice if Adam's would supply a quality one that would give the proper clearance for a few dollars more - save you a trip and I'm sure they'd source something nice!

I am quite happy, and do truly hope this is the last nozzle I ever have to buy. It takes some time to get used to subtle things, but after you get some nozzle time in you'll never look back. Quick one handed operation with ability to meter the flow and adjust the stream while your other hand is full of suds.

Worth the money? Whether you're washing a Corolla or a Ca rrera, I've probably spent this much money cumulatively on nozzles throughout the years - I'd say yes. It'll make you want to get out there and wash stuff more often too.

I meter the water to a trickle via the shut off valve to avoid spraying the rest of the car as I remove bugs, and it is a bit funny working with the nozzle at such low pressures at first, but you get used to it. I just washed my mountain bike as well - its nice being able to meter down to a trickle around bearings with the shut off valve, then open to full pressure and narrow stream to get the crud of the tires and frame. Then just fan out to get any debris off the whole thing before putting the hose away.

Overall a great nozzle. I did notice when assembling everything the plumbing department at Home Depot gave me that you can't get the fittings too tight before they start to bind on the ball inside of the shut off valve. It seemed like my jury rigged adaptors / extenders would be in d anger of coming loose from the supplied shut off valve - not the case after a few washes and the free rotation offered by a quick disconnect (hardly any torque is able to be generated I'm guessing).

Just use a quick disconnect, and if you run into the clearance issue like I did - save yourself a headache and get someone from plumbing to jury rig the thing for you!!!
